Vague Memories - Part 1

Hi there,

Still remember this blog's name....? You're right! It's called Vague Memories!

But what does it mean?

Still remember the equations: vague + memories = ? & ? = vague + memories

Have checked the English dictionary about these two words. Here we go....

The first word:

Extracted from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary:

vague [adjective /veɪg/]

not clearly expressed, known, described or decided
I do have a vague memory of meeting her many years ago.
The patient had complained of vague pains and backache.

not clear in shape, or not clearly seen

Here is the second word:

Extracted from Merriam Webster Dictionary

memory [noun \ˈmem-rē, ˈme-mə-\] [plural mem·o·ries]

1a : the power or process of reproducing or recalling what has been learned and retained especially through associative mechanisms
1b : the store of things learned and retained from an organism's activity or experience as evidenced by modification of structure or behavior or by recall and recognition

2a : commemorative remembrance <erected a statue in memory of the hero>
2b : the fact or condition of being remembered <days of recent memory>

3a : a particular act of recall or recollection
3b : an image or impression of one that is remembered <fond memories of her youth> c : the time within which past events can be or are remembered

4a : a device (as a chip) or a component of a device in which information especially for a computer can be inserted and stored and from which it may be extracted when wanted; especially : ram
4b : capacity for storing information <512 megabytes of memory>

5: a capacity for showing effects as the result of past treatment or for returning to a former condition —used especially of a material (as metal or plastic)

well ok.......all we know what vague and memory mean but.......... what do they mean when put them together?

It's an abstract thing........more will come.

To Be Continued.
