Have been sick.....

Would like to share with you this time are Carmen and Rico's Pre-wedding photos.
Many thanks for the team - Sam, Katie, William and the MUA Icy. Especially William. He climbed up to the higher level (in fact was quite dangerous) and helped to 'light up' the couple. (Many thanks William!!!) It was an extremely hot day and we carried all those photographic equipment up to that 'hill' - well....not actually a hill but though enough. Carmen, Rico adn the whole team totally exhausted as well.

U2 - Vertigo MV

Hi, tonight I'm listening a music played by David Garrett - called Vivaldi vs. Vertigo. David is a famous violinist playing classical x rock music. Classical and rock/pop are my favourite. Sounds a bit strange classical and rock music are mixed with each other. But love it!!

Today, it's a really hot day in HK...in additional to my flu - still recovering from running nose, sore throat and cough. I have listened a song which I haven't played for so long. The lyrics are so beautiful - just like a fairytale. The MV is really touching.....hope you like it.

I guess it has been out now. I watched it twice coz it is so impressive.....still want to watch the third time.....

Sick Today

Haven't seen my family doctor at least 6 months and I have to visit him today. Started from yesterday....sore throat, running nose and bodyaching....I feel the body parts are not belong to mine....not control-able by my brain.....hope will be better tomorrow which is Monday.

Photography Inspirational Workshop

Hi guys,

As mentioned in my previous post, I attended a photography inspiration workshop in April and would like share two photos here. Sorry for may late post..... Although I'm not an expert of weddding / portrait photography, this workshop is inspirational and valuable.I have known a group of friends who are very keen on wedding photography and now we have regular photographic event and are working as a team!!!
 
Absolutely worth it! Hope you like them.

Hong Kong Design Institute - Design Graduation Show 2011

Today have met a friend of mine at Tiu Keng Leng (調景嶺) and have a chance to visit the Hong Kong Design Institute. Surpisingly, they have the Design Graduation Show 2011. Personally, I'm interested in the product, interior and digital media design. Here is the poster:

The institute is very close to the MTR station. If you like design in general. I think it is worth to have a visit. Interesting though.

Bad Mood

Recently have had a really bad mood for a couple of weeks already....partly because of work and mainly is the bloddy decoration work upstair. I live on 17th floor and my bloddy neightbour 18th's new owner is now carrying out 'huge' decor works....well comparing with my daily job on site, it is nothing in fact....

Back to 3 weeks ago, it was a Thursday night. Around 10pm, I was at home and suddenly the power was gone. Obviously I called the management office asking for what happen. Waiting about 45min., luckily power was back and then gone again in 30min. The electrician (a more pro term, should be called 'see fu' in HK) said my flat's main cable is likely damaged. 70% caused by the decor works upstair and he couldn't get the power back during that night. It was during middle of the night - no light, no fan, no hot / warm water...totally darkness. On the next day, the 'see fu' went upstair to find out what happened. I was told by those pro 'see fu' that my flat's main cable was damaged and they fixed it on Friday. Of course I was really happy coz I got the 'power' back!!!

Last Friday when I got back home from work, switching on the light......no light!!!! Power gone again?????? Why????? Why it's me again????? Called the management office and a 'see fu' came. I was told that my fuse box....well a more pro term (coz I'm a silly architect) is called MCB box) is likely to be passed away......partly caused by the decor works......That 'see fu' was very nice and trying to help me to get the power back. Thank GOD, I got the power back during that night!!!!! On the following day, I had asked an electrician to replace my fuse box and such costed me HK$2500.  OK, I accepted this coz my old....well...really old fuse box was 30 years old. I didn't blamed anybody.

The worst thing happened this Wednesday....the bloody workers upstair has formed a hole to my ceiling. They used the drill to drill thorugh the concrete slab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All rubble has safely rested on my monitor, desk, chair and floor. Now above my head, there is a hole on the ceiling. Can u believe this??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I was fuming on that night and the following day. Calling the management office, arguing with the owner of upstairs and the workers. I have hidden my temper for many years and it was the time to show off architect's temper.........
 
Today is Friday and I'm totally exhausted now. I need to work tomorrow and wish having a good sleep tonight.

Photograhy Workshop and Pre-Wedding Shooting

In fact, I attended a photography inspirational workshop in April and had a pre-wedding shooting on 1 May. I really want to share the photos I with you guys...although they aren't that good....

Due to my crazy and unbelieveable workload recently, I have to postpone the posting and really hope I can upload some photos after the meeting on the coming Friday....

Unforunately, the recent deadline I have to meet is only one fourth of the project. More will come. I would imagine this situation will last until late August.

Work....Work...and the bloody Work

Recently have been working really really hard and many late nights.....still can't finish my works. The coming Friday early morning is the deadline and then I'll off the Doungguan having meeting on that Friday. Hopefull I can get 2-3 hours sleep on that Thursday night. A really tough weeks. More will come.

If you really want to be an architect, you should think in depth. Don't regret.....sorrry for my mourning.

Return from Kenting (墾丁)

Hi there,

I just got back from Kenting last night. Spending this Easter holiday there. It was my 3rd time there. Just love it. Wearing shorts and flip-flop walking down the streets......

Haven't taken much photos this time coz it was planned as a 'lazy' trip. Trying to free and relax myself out there. Get away from Hong Kong and the bloody & never-end archi. works!!!! Having '豬油感覺' which is one of my dreams...yes. I'm greedy and have many dreams. Dream...dream.....dream.......

You may ask what is '豬油感覺'....sorry to my poor Mandarin. I, in fact, wanted to say freedom feeling (自由感覺). hahahahaha......

Will post some photos later.
